Meal planning, handled

Making meal planning easier.

dinner, already decided

Keep your recipes in one place, plan the week in a few minutes, and get a shopping list that builds itself.

Dinner shouldn’t take up this much space in your head.

Most nights the hard part isn’t the cooking. It’s standing in the kitchen at 5pm trying to remember what you already have and what everyone will actually eat.

I built Cheerful Meals because I was doing that math from scratch every single week. My recipes lived in about six different places. The shopping list got rewritten every Saturday. And I still ended up staring into the fridge.

So this is the tool I wanted.

What it does

Your recipes, all in one place

Save the ones you actually cook. Edit them as you go, since the way you make it now probably isn’t the way you first wrote it down.

Plan the week in a few minutes

Put meals on the days that work, and move them when the week changes. Because it will.

A shopping list that builds itself

Once the week is planned, the list is done. It pulls straight from the recipes you picked.

It remembers what you made

Look back at what you actually cooked and when. Useful when you can’t remember if you made that chicken thing two weeks ago or two months ago.

Give it a try.

Open Cheerful Meals, add a couple of recipes you already make, and plan out this week. That’s the whole thing.
